Based in Cwmbran, Solutions in Technology is made up of three business divisions namely telecommunications, office equipment, and IT services. These three divisions work seamlessly together to enable the company to offer bespoke business services consultancy, workflow management, project management, print management and cloud solutions. Established in 2004, it has a purpose built head office based in Cwmbran and opened a Swansea branch in 2012. With an annual turnover in excess of  £2,000,000 and a customer base of 1,000+ customers, this success has been driven by its capacity to adapt to the marketplace's huge technological enhancements that, in turn, has benefitted customers with the benefits of the latest technologies. In order to continue this organic growth, it takes pride in offering outstanding customer care and aspires to be the most respected managed service provider in South Wales and the West, providing informative, customer-focused solutions on time and within budget.

From the beginning, the business owners, Richard Wilkins and Simon Lacey, had an aspiration to build a company that would be successful, respected and ethical in its approach. The office eq and the West, but especially to those in the third sector. At first, it was a case of getting the right contacts and building up a small network of loyal customers and from there, it was predominantly word of mouth and hard work. A crucial part of setting up the business was recruiting the right people to help the company to grow but at the same time to balance the costs. Some employees have been with the company since almost the very beginning, and it is this strong customer facing and friendly team that help Solutions in Technology to deliver to a very high standard.



For Solutions in Technology the secret to growth has been simple namely the right team (from administration to director level, a lot is expected from the team and they always deliver); the right products (the company is a partner to some major office equipment suppliers) and the right price (in an industry where pricing points really make the difference, ensuring that need of the company are maintained as well as ensuring happy customers has been paramount) THE FUTURE? In an industry such as office equipment, technology is a key driver and it is in understanding the new technology and the needs of the customer that the company will look to grow. Keeping costs down, and keeping the product line up to date is vital to the future success and growth of the company but it is more of the same, that is needed to keep the company moving forward. Further expansion at the offices in Cwmbran in 2015 is planned to ensure there is even more space for the growing team. In 2014, the company has employed six new members of staff and hopes that with continued great products and delivery that will set a precedent for the next five years
